Having recently replaced the chancel roof using grants, legacies and church funds which cost over £20,000 we have moved on to the interior of the Church.
The whole church has been redecorated, the stonework around the windows restored and where necessary any other repairs completed. This was paid for by The Friends of St. James.
A more efficient lightning conductor has been installed for £2,500. The next major work was the replacement of the original heating system at a cost of over £5,000. This follows on from all the work done on the North and South Walls.
Most recently a more up to date loop system has been installed both in the Church and in the Parish Room for the benefit of the deaf and hard of hearing. Ramps have alaso been installed.
